Most residential water damage drying takes 3 to 5 days with professional equipment. Factors include the amount of water, materials affected (hardwood vs. concrete), humidity levels, and how quickly we begin extraction. We monitor moisture levels daily and don't sign off until everything meets dry standards.
Mold can begin growing within 24 to 48 hours of water exposure. That's why rapid response is critical. Our process includes anti-microbial application and thorough drying to prevent mold from taking hold. If you already see or smell mold, we handle remediation too — same team, same call.
Clean water (Category 1) comes from burst pipes or faucets — it's safe to handle. Gray water (Category 2) from washing machines or dishwashers contains chemicals and requires precautions. Black water (Category 3) from sewage or flooding is biohazardous and requires full PPE and specialized cleanup. We handle all three.
Often yes, if we get there quickly. We use specialized drying mats and equipment to pull moisture from below the surface without removing the flooring. If the wood is cupping but not buckling, there's a good chance we can save it. We'll be honest about what can and can't be restored.
Yes. Sewage backups are Category 3 biohazard situations that require immediate professional attention. Our team is trained and equipped for hazardous waste cleanup. We extract, sanitize, decontaminate, and restore — with full compliance to Massachusetts health and safety regulations.
Most standard homeowners policies cover sudden and accidental water damage (burst pipes, appliance leaks). Flood damage from natural disasters requires separate flood insurance. We work with all major insurance companies and can help determine what your policy covers before we start work.
We provide emergency water damage services across Eastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. Call 800-847-0114 and we'll be there.
Don't wait. The longer water sits, the more damage it causes — and the more it costs to fix. We're standing by.
